We have been tracking the progress of Cashback director Sean Ellis' The Broken in these pages for some time now, pointing to both the French and Japanese versions of the trailer. It's like the slasher J-Horror version of The Double Life of Veronique. I'm sure the 'sees her doppelganger in the SUV' sequence is a direct hommage to Kieslowski's wonderful film.
Looks fantastic, with a tremendous cast. Will we get to see it in Canada?
