Very good news for fans of Casshern and director Kaz Kiriya here. Visitors to the website for his upcoming action fantasy Goemon will quickly realize that the entire website has been completely redesigned and relaunched and a relaunch can only mean one thing: new content. Now there isn't a proper trailer yet but what there is is a HUGE archive of production art - I stopped counting as the slide show edged up on fifty - and, best of all, the first proper character shots released so far with images of eleven of the key characters. These things are simply gorgeous - as they should be with Kiriya at the helm, he's not one of the most in-demand fashion photographers in the world for nothing - but their particular genius is how they make you feel as though they are revealing far more than they actually are. What are they revealing to me? I need to see this stuff in motion, now.
Looks good, looks very good indeed. Hope eventually a DVD box will come out with highres character shots, like they did for the superb dvdbox for Shinobi!
