Ever thought to yourself, "I could make a better teaser than that?" Ever had a great idea for a film that would only actually fill about a minute and a half? Ever wondered why there hasn't been yet another sequel made to your favorite film? Well, a whole lot of prominent directors in Spain have had exactly those thoughts and the end result of them is Teaserland, an online festival of fake movie teasers, teasers for films tht do not actually exist. Participation in the contest is open to the public - and there are some significant prizes up for grabs - but the big draw here are the fake teasers produced by big name talent. Paco Place and Jaume Balaguero - the directorial duo behind [Rec] - have both done one, as has The Orphanage director JA Bayona. Bayona's is actually done in 3-D to boot and while I can't guarantee it'll work correctly when streaming online I know from talking to him about it that it is actual, functioning 3-D when projected, so break out your silly glasses ...
