A little help from our Russian-speaking friends here?
I have no idea what День рождения Алисы is, none at all, beyond the fact that it's Russian, it's animated, it's science fiction, and it looks like ten types of awesome. It's got a big, blue four armed guy. It's got a cyclops cat. It's got aliens and astronauts and all sorts of silliness. And the animation style just looks fun, fun, fun. Between this one and Fedot The Hunter there are now at least a couple Russian animated projects with the potential to make some major waves internationally. So, if there's anyone out there that can shed some light on this - an English title, who is making it, a basic storyline, etc - please let us know.

I's based, more or less, on children's sci-fi books by late Kir Bulychev. The original is insanely popular in Russia, and Alisa Seleznyova was a sort of underage sex-symbol for years. There're also a live-action mini-series about her called "Guest from the future" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086723/).
