Ahh the wonderful 80's. A time when tons of cheap horror films entertained a young horror junkie like myself over weekends. The Gate actually creeped me out back in the day, not so sure that stop motion goblins will do that today but at that time the film tapped in to the same vein as The Goonies and The Monster Squad did to a young mind who craved adventure.
The Alamo Drafthouse at the Ritz will host a free screening of this classic Stephen Dorff gem in their Terror Thursday lineup on sept 11th and asked Lil Tuffy to design a poster for it. And design he did. This looks fantastic in its simplicity and very striking.
It will be mine.
