This could be timely, pertinent, and all-in-all not a terrible idea. I don't know if it will be, but it could be.
Looks all right but I'm pretty sure the message that the original delivers will be somewhat absent from the remake.

Also, i haven't seen the original, but i do think the idea could get a good remake these days, but i doubt this one is going to be the case. Just another CGI-fest to numb people's senses instead of stimulating them.
