Many people here love Icelandic director Baltasar Kormakur and his thriller Jar City and rightly so, it's a solid crime drama with a distinct Icelandic flair. He has been getting a steady stream of offers from Tinsletown for some time but has usually dodged them to work on his own projects over here. This time though he found a script that interested him enough to tackle and he's now stationed in New Mexico shooting the thriller Run For Her Life which feature Dermot Mulroney, Diane Kruger, Sam Shepard and Rosanna Arquette. The story revolves around a couple who go to some dangerous lengths to help their daughter get a heart transplant and fall in to the dark world of black marked organ harvesting.
A few days ago a segment on Baltasar and the shooting of the film aired on TV over here and this clip is now available online. This segment is more about Diane Kruger and I'm guessing the next one will feature Dermont Mulroney and so on and so on. It's mostly in english so it shouldn't be a problem for those who don't speak much Icelandic.
