Self promotion? Yeah, sort of. I was, once again, a programmer for this year's edition of Fantasia in Montreal and am feeling rather proud of the lineup we've assembled. As part of my job there I wrote a healthy portion of the program guide and am linking here to my bits. Why? Well, I rather like all of these films for one thing. Plus it took a bloody long time to write all of these things and I'm going to make damn sure someone other than my mother reads them. Mom reads everything I do. She's swell. Because of various quirks of festival programming I didn't actually write the guide entries for all of the titles that I programmed and did write a few for titles that I didn't program but, on the whole, this is a pretty fair representation of what I did ...
