Yes, this is the upcoming indie drama starring Mariah Carey, which makes it unusual material to be writing about on Twitch but it is also the sophomore film from Aaron Woodley, AKA David Cronenberg's nephew, AKA the director of the stellar Rhinoceros Eyes which we have written about extensively in these pages. Tennessee has wrapped production and is on the prowl for international distribution now, which means the promotional train is starting to get rolling. A series of images and a pair of extended clips from the film have appeared on the official website and - no surprise - Woodley sure as hell knows how to shoot. This looks like very strong stuff and Carey has thankfully kept her pop star persona well and truly off the screen ... there might actually be a pretty good actor lurking in there ...

yikes.. I friend of mine saw a test screening in LA a few months back and said it was pretty bad. Keep in mind that this person also has 'George Washington' and 'You've Got Mail' in their DVD collection.
Can't wait for DRONE to get to this stage. Less interest in Tennessee at this point though. Woodley has got a short film in a Toronto Compilation film ("Toronto Stories") on the go too.....But Drone is the biggie for me.
...And I've heard a good thing or two about Tennessee, and it's got the fabulous Lance Reddick in it (That'd be lieutenant Daniels for you The Wire type folks)...
