Okay, looking for a little help from any Russian speakers out there. A gap in my screening schedule in Cannes today is letting me catch up on my email and in there I found a trailer for new Russian film Закрытые пространства passed along by regular reader TimoP. Now, he knows nothing about it at all and I know nothing either beyond the fact that it looks rather good, indeed. Very stylish, some quality action bits, what looks like some quirky character work ... I'm pretty much sold on it visually but I've got no clue what's going on. Could that be "Goran Bregovich" (Underground OST) playing the music in the background? :)
It's art-house movie about the guy with agoraphobia, who kidnapped pizza-girl and will release her after she would make 3 tasks.
it's not Bregovich. music depends to very good russian underground musician Leonid Fedorov. he is playing in band AUCTYON. the band is also well known in USA.
