It's been a little while since we've checked in with Greek outfit Onar Films - purveyors of Turkish cult madness - but they recently sent us their most recent trio of releases and once again they've dug up a selection of bizarre and uniquely Turkish cult titles. The three include two masked hero films - Casus Kiran (Spy Smasher), Korsan Adam (Iron Claw The Pirate) - from the sixties and a historical action film - Kizil Tug Cengis Han (Red Plume Genghis Khan) - from the 1950s. The state of film archival in Turkey is pretty abysmal so all three prints show damage to varying degrees but Onar have restored them as much as possible and that they exist at all is pretty remarkable. Of the three Casus Kiran stands out the most to me with it's motorcycle riding hero, his voluptuous sidekick and villains so evil that they not only tie up beautiful young women and torture them to extract information but they also strip of their bikini tops while doing so. You'll find trailers for all three below the break.
