We've been keeping track of Ilion Animation's Planet 51 since two years ago and now our first glimpse of the footage has arrive in a form of a news report from Spain. There is only a short clip with some behind the scenes footage and while non-Spanish speakers may not understand whats being said in the video, we still get an idea on the quality of the animation which - as I mention about the stills before - looks mighty impressive. The English voice cast for the North American release will include Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jessica Biel, Justin Long and Seann William Scott.
New Line has set the release date on July 24, 2009.
