Adrien Brody Joins Argento's GIALLO!

by Todd Brown, April 11, 2008 9:02 PM

Well, well. Whatever you may think of Dario Argento's hugely divisive latest Mother of Tears there's no denying his upcoming English language feature Giallo is shaping up to be one to watch out for. The initial announcement of the project named Vincent Gallo and Ray Liotta in the cast and now the fine lads at Bloody Disgusting are reporting that Adrien Brody, Emmanuelle Seigner and Elsa Pataky have joined the cast. If we get the good Liotta here rather than the horribly over the top Liotta who turns up from time to time this could be one truly spectacular cast and it makes for a very interesting choice from Brody who between this and Splice is now building a nice little genre component into his resume.

** UPDATE **

Rumblings are that Brody may be replacing Liotta in the cast though I've not had a chance to try and confirm that just yet ... thanks Peter.

Actually, it looks like Adrien Brody is replacing Ray Liotta as the Italian investigator.

Yes Peter, that is what Screen.com says too.
