It is easily the most anticipated film currently in the works in Russia and the official website for Fyodor Bondarchuk's adaptation of the Strugatsky Brothers' science fiction story Inhabited Island has had a major overhaul recently. The text, unfortunately, is available in Russian only but if you click around a bit you'll be treated to an extensive character gallery, stacks of concept art and even some creature designs. The plan right now is for the film to release in two parts in Russia, with the first hitting January 1st, with an edited down single film version made available internationally.
