How's this for a collision of talent: Clive Owen and Naomi Watts starring in a new action thriller by Tom Tykwer with John Woo on board as an executive producer. The film is The International, with Owen starring as an Interpol agent trying to crack an international arms dealing ring. It's shooting right now and Spanish film site FantasyMundo has the first shots from the set.
Sounds like it could be good, could be terrible, until the name Tom Tykwer was added.
Damn! Hope he writes the soundtrack as well, his "Lola Rennt" score cd has caused me several speeding tickets...
Tykwer is on my always watch list. To boot, this also happens to look good!
