Yahoo! Movies has our first look at five character posters for The Forbidden Kingdom, a Jackie Chan & Jet Li team-up fantasy adventure film we been keeping track of from the very beginning. Beside Jackie and Jet, the other cast member presented is Michael Angarano, Liu Yifei and Li Bingbing. Its very colorful and each features a tagline that reflects the role of the character. As of late, my expectation has drastically decline after seeing the teaser but deep down, part of me is still holding out hope that something worthwhile is in there. I would hate to add this to the long list of disappointment from oversea talents working in Hollywood, especially when you got two of the biggest name in the martial art genre meeting for the first time.
The release date is on April 18th.

It's going to suck people, you know it, i know it, and Jackie and Jet know for sure.
Oh man, these are all kinds of awesome. I like the serious tone of these posters. There's a certain gravity to them, especially Jackie, Jet and Li Bingbing. I have to say, I'm really looking forward to this flick. Flaws and all, it's got potential to be great!
Yeah, the bits of footage we've seen and these posters make it look like they've neatly dodged all the usual pitfalls, despite the white guy.
At least, the action scenes in the first footage were shot properly.
Cautiously optimistic.
What's the bride with white hair doing in this movie? I hope she gets to cut people in half with that whip again. Probably not though.
