Much has been made on the recent French run on quality horror and sci-fi films but while all the attention is over there we risk missing out on an equally impressive string of crime and gang related films. The most recent of these is Jacques Maillot's upcoming Les Liens Du Sang with Francois Cluzet and Guillaume Canet. Set in the late 1970s this looks to be a note perfect recreation of the era with a pair of exceptionally strong leads.
