We've reported twice now on Thai director Wisit Sasanatieng - of Tears of the Black Tiger and Citizen Dog fame - and his upcoming remake of classic Thai masked hero picture Red Eagle, due to start shooting in March. Sasanatieng has just dropped a note to confirm that the project is definitely a go - the press conference to formally announce it within Thailand will take place December 17th - and that Shutter's Ananda Everingham is indeed confirmed to play the role originally made famous by legendary Thai actor Mitr Chaibancha and, along with the news, the director included a pair of high res looks at the key art for the film.
