I'll take any chance to talk about Johnnie To these days, even if it means we only get to look at some purdy pictures. MonkeyPeaches dug up three posters for To's drama, Linger. That's pretty much all I have to say about that. Oh, they did have a more in depth synopsis of the film over there too... which explains all the butterfly imagry as well. Posters after the jump...
Linger (literal title: The Butterfly Flies), is about a man (Vic Zhou), who has been taking drugs to ease the pain of losing his girlfriend (Li Bingbing) in a car accident three years, decide to get clean and move on. Then suddenly, his girlfriend reappers and he does not believe it is his imagination.
"directed by johnnie"? Is this related somehow to this particular film, or is Johnnie To, excuse me, [i]johnnie[/i] going all one-named on us? And if so will his next movie star Mars?

Thanks for this news Mack! If it's a Milky Way film, I'm going to go see it. The trailer and poster art look really nice. The story seems like a variation upon "Ghost" and "Ima Ai Ni Yukimasu/Be With You".
