Could this be the start of the Korean resurgence? After a lengthy fallow period chiller the Epitaph heralded the arrival of some fresh blood on the scene and now the greatly under rated Im Pil-Sung (Antarctic Journal) returns with another unusual genre picture, an adaptation of Brothers Grimm fairy tale Hansel and Gretel. Just check the trailer for this and you'll see why Im is worth getting excited about. Not only is the man a very smart film maker but he shoots visually stunning work. This just looks tasty ... like gingerbread.

This could be good...
Unfortunately indeed underrated. I really digged A.J.
Those dolls are particularly creepy. Is it just me or is that the same interior they used for "A Tale of Two Sisters"?
I don't think it's the same but the visual style is certainly similar to ATOTS.
When the camera pans through the frontdoor and across the stairway to the rightside dining room/kitchen it *does* look very much like the same layout of ATOTS. I remember because I just saw ATOTS for the first time only about 3 months ago..
