A quick heads-up:
Our affiliate is prepping the Hong Kong R3 DVD of "Lust, Caution" for pre-order with a release date set on the 15th of December.
Ang Lee's newest movie has been doing the rounds on the festival circuit, and gotten very differing reviews. Some trash it, some call it a masterpiece.
Many were shocked by seeing more of Tony Leung than ever before.
Movies with such a mixed reception can't help but make me curious, and Ang Lee is always interesting even if he fails.
Count me in on this one!
Note: all Chinese DVD versions may be featuring the censored version, so be cautious.

It isn't necessarily that Lust, Caution is a failure, it certainly is an interesting film. The problem is that it isn't the full blown success that Lee has consistently provided up until this point.
Love that Cover art though. Pretty.
And if this DVD is censored, the same would apply here - it deserves to collect dust on the store shelf.
The US and UK DVDs will be uncut. Looks like there won't be a Hong Kong or China edition that will be uncensored. It's possible the Korean version might be, but that remains to be seen.
Good point about the censorship guys,
I've added a warning.
