Glory! In a surprise announcement today - well, it caught me by surprise which makes it a surprise announcement in my book - Aardman Animation announced that work has begun on a new project starring everyone's favorite plasticene man and dog duo, Wallace and Gromit. Titled Trouble At Mill the new piece will be a half hour short prepared for the BBC with Nick Park again at the helm. Park is back to working with regular co-writer Bob Baker and, in his own words, is looking forward to getting back to Brit TV because now he won't have to worry about whether or not some suburban American kid will get the jokes. Only he said it much more nicely than I did just there.
Excellent news, though I was hoping for a feature rather than just a short.
