MULBERRY ST. Crew Announced Their Next ...

Jim Mickle, you naughty man. After about a year of corresponding via email I finally met the Mulberry St. director in person last night when his film opened the second annual Toronto After Dark Festival on a strong note and he didn't let on even the tiniest bit about this. Of course, I didn't actually ask, either but that's beside the point ...

Anyway, Dread Central got the scoop today that Mickle and writer/star Nick Damici will be reteaming for an adaptation of Joe R. Lansdale's Cold in July.

I've been pleased with Don Coscarelli's two Lansdale adaptations and I'm curious to see more of his stories get the movie treatment. I also should start reading some more of his books... By the way, Ted Tally (Silence of the Lambs screenplay) wrote an unproduced scipt for Lansdale's Mucho Mojo.
