With the film not releasing until 2009 it seems a bit early for stills from Miike's adaptation of popular anime Yatterman to be appearing but that's what these appear to be. There's nothing earth shaking included, they appear to be video captures from a Japanese equivalent of Entertainment Tonight but if your a fan of the anime or the director here's a chance to at least get a glimpse ...

Yes, it is Miike's Yatterman! Don Brown's email back to me confirms this is in fact a teaser for Miike's Yatterman movie, due 2009... now, the franchise is ramping up again, with a remake of the anime TV series due (early?) 2008 also. And as Don Brown points out, you'll see Angelina Jolie in the video and captures because Miike has apparently offered the role to her, and as Don puts it "if you believe that, you'll believe anything". Still, stranger things happen for Miike films.
