You have to credit TWC and Dragon Dynasty for bringing out some great titles. And if you didn't pick up the all-region HK disc last Fall in a couple weeks you can get your hands on the visceral and gritty Dog Bite Dog, directed by Cheang Pou-Soi, on October 23rd. Dog Bite Dog is a major assault of brutality and adrenaline; a film that one day some will credit as to breathing life into a stifling HK film industry. Are the featurettes all exlusively produced for this new DVD?
Also the cover makes the film look like some kind of martial arts movie.
I'll wait until I can see some picture quality comparisons but generally I'm very interested in picking this up.
This thing was laughably bad. No idea why it's getting praise from all quarters.
I'm more interested in finding out just what's going on a Dragon Dynasty; they've abandoned their initial release schedule, seem to be slowing down the pace of their releases, and said nothing about that. Mainly I just want to know if the
Jet Li movies originally scheduled will actually come out.
