They hated it in Cannes but I have absolutely loved every scrap released from Richard Kelly's follow up to Donnie Darko released thus far and it's not like the Cannes audience hasn't been wrong before. Of course, they tend to be right, but a guy can hope, right? Regardless, the clips from Southland Tales we linked to a while back had me giggling like a little schoolgirl and the just-released trailer is far, far better. Smart, stylish and very, very funny. Yes, please.

Yahoo have it up now in High-Def 480,720,1080 resolutions. Sweet. GO HERE.
I'm surprised - having heard so many negative things about it, this trailer makes it look great. Can't wait to see it...
I was fortunate enough to be at the Cannes screening - and really enjoyed it!
... I am not sure the Cannes audience actually hated the film. What I mainly heard were criticisms about the length of the film, and the neo-christian ending. Fair enough.
What I really liked, though, was the insane mix of comedy, political awareness, musical and apocalypse!
Now, the film has been re-edited, and I believe these flaws have been dealt with (haven't seen the final version yet). I just hope they kept the 'Teen horniness' song by Gellar!
But let me tell you this: If you were thrilled by the actors' performances on the trailer, this flick cannot disappoint you!
Ok this looks officaly fuckin awesome. Why was all the hate thrown towards it?
