Any aspiring actors among our readers in France at the moment, take note. Hong Sang-soo has begun shooting his latest film in the city of lights and is looking for a whole lot of extras until September 13th. Several staff members from Cinémasie have already participated and can attest to the good spirits on the set. The dramatic comedy is about a debt-ridden painter who must flee Seoul for Paris, leaving his wife behind. The artist soon finds himself romantically involved with a young Korean student. The French-Korean co-production, to be filmed mostly in Korean, will be released in early 2008.
