With both 'Snake Woman's Curse' and 'Horrors of Malformed Men' finally set to hit the shelves at the end of August '07, the date for the next three of the Panik House / Synapse Pinky Violence releases is confirmed as November 13th. This time around it's a set and not, as might also happen, a trio of individual releases, with the series now being titled 'Legend of the Poisonous Seductress' - the cover for the first of the films, 'Female Demon Ohyaku', can be see here on the left - after having been previously revealed to have been translated as 'Sexy Deadly Legend : Female Demon Ohyaku'. Thanks Logboy for this bit of news! I was wondering when these were scheduled to be released. I'm also glad that it is being sold as a set rather than as individual DVDs. I wonder if Synapse will follow Panik House's lead and do a tripped out packaging for the set like what Panik House did for the first Pinky Violence collection.
there's a dvdmaniacs.net forum post, which i've seen since i plopped this up quickly yesterday, which shows individual releases for these three. now, two things : one, i think there's still a chance they're releasing them as both a set and individuals, though there's confirmation for the latter and not for the former... but three individual releases in the same series on exactly the same date, must be something to do with the financial implications of a set as per 'the pinky violence collection' box set from panik house, which could also suggest a set would be fine it handled well by retailers.
