Well talk about a few surprises this week, May 18th is once again the #1 film in Korea. It looks like D-War is starting to drop. The film distributor "Showbox" is stating that D-War has sold over 8 million tickets. (Please remember Kobis only cover 94% of all of the theaters in Korea.) One real surprise has been the USA film "Stardust" it has received a good word of mouth and has slowly built a nice showing. The thud you heard was "The Simpson's Movie" It looks like it will not do good business here in Korea.

How popular is the Simpsons TV show in Korea?
