Stills O'Plenty From Mad Monkey, The Latest From Korea's Studio Flying

by Todd Brown, July 25, 2007 1:11 AM

We linked to a pair of projects in the works at Korea's Studio Flying - the animation house responsible for Aachi and Ssipak - a little while back but at the time there was no mention on the site of a project titled Mad Monkey, which is odd since it looks to be the one closest to completion. Described as an action fantasy film, the project is helmed by Gap Kim - animation director on Aachi - and will be a straight to video release in Korea. The website has just added a series of stills from the project to their website and they look stunning. Anyone out there care to translate the synopsis for us please?

Find the stills here (select 'Work' and then 'Mad Monkey', you'll see the links)

The plot synopsis from the studios website is pretty short/vague. Six human warriors go to the end of the world and "knock on the Gate of Hell", come back with supernatural powers.
