Why? Because that'd be the day Election and Triad Election - the film known everywhere else as Election 2 hit screens. These were a big success in limited release in New York, if they do well in LA maybe people will realize that there's actually an audience out there that want to see these they way they were meant to be seen.
** UPDATE **
Not only are both films playing LA starting this Friday - that'd be the 8th for the date-impaired - but we've just gotten word that they're playing back to back as a double bill. Yep. One ticket, both films, which really is the way these should be seen. Sweet.
