A great many people at Cannes were rather unkind to Tsui Hark, Ringo Lam and Johnnie To's puzzle film Triangle. I think those people are wrong. And possibly blind. The film is not without its flaws - mostly some serious over-plotting in the opening segment - but it's more than worthwhile. And now the trailer is online. It's a fairly low grade streaming version so you don't get the full punch of the visuals but you'll get the idea.

looks great! can anybody actually confirm that the HK release is still in August because monkeypeaches.com lists it as having a December release in Asia. also, any word on whther this might play at Toronto in the fall? I hope so!
