I love when people send in stuff like this ...
'This' in this case is the trailer for Lucifer, a proposed epic trilogy that aims to tell the untold story of Lucifer's fall from grace and transformation from the angel of light into the devil himself. It's a dream project from first time writer-director Ray Griggs, who reportedly met up with Slither director James Gunn not so long ago and told the man that he dropped his entire five million dollar life savings into making just eight minutes of film. Yep. Five million for eight minutes. For that much money you'd think he could hire a decent composite artist. And in all my time working on my religious studies degree -- I was valedictorian, even -- I seem to have missed the stories about Lucifer battling multi headed dragons. Don't recall any of those at all, really ...
Lucifer Website (trailer within)

geezzz...the 5 rad features i could do on that budget lol.
I'm not gonna lie. That was bad. Really bad.
Look like a five million dollar piece of crap.
That was...interesting. I'm sure there are allot other better things to do with five mills than making this.
Maybe he can get the Christian crowd behind him in financing this but this would never be anything more than a straight to DVD film or straight to Christian networks, unless Tyler Perry was involved some how.
Wow.
I've seen worse websites though. Some of the design drawings look like they could lead to a fun movie. Or maybe a videogame? Shame the trailer doesn't have that effect...
But check the first painting in the "feature" section. It made me laugh: are they subtly hinting that they want Anthony Hopkins to be in their movie?
Wow. A trailer for a trailer, and that trailer doesn't make me want to see the other trailer.
I really doubt if they spent $5 million on a trailer. Lucifer is the Prince of Lies after all, and I guess they just threw that figure around to get attention.
And for a while I was thinking this was the adaptation of the comic book...
I'm with Dave on this, there's no possible way this thing cost 5 very large. Too bad that figure's intent actually works negatively for him...who would give this guy a budget for anything after seeing that? It's just shameful. Maybe he's a one man show and paid himself to produce this pile of shit! Who knows, he could be the dude playing Lucifer...and the dragon...and the mountain.

Do you see what I see? "Inspired by God"?! This guy has mental problems...
This sucks.... a lot
Awful.
Someone should tell this guy that STORM RIDERS was 9 years ago and that special effects have come a long way since then.
Maybe some Christian network will give him another 5 million to make the entire trilogy which will then become available in bargain bins everywhere. This is actually a great story and could be a great movie but certainly not with this idiot at the helm. Goddamn, I hope this isn't anything like what Scott Derrickson has in mind for his adaptation of Milton's PARADISE LOST. I swear...to God... if he turns Milton's work into something remotely as cheesy as this...
Christian networks? In that case I want Michael York for Lucifer!
(He did it once, he can do it again...)
Reminds me of the old Herc and Xena shows... which is kind of sad, if you think about it.
it's so bad and yet i still kinda wanna see it....
Too bad this isn't based on the comic...a non secular approach to Lucifer is much more interesting to me than a biblical one...and probably more interesting to Hollywood money as well. All that talk about Christian financing is right on the nose. Just look at those Left Behind movies. (All due respect to Christian readers)
That was utterly horrible. I'm 3D artist and I can most definitely sh*t out way better compositing and CG than the crap in this trailer. What a waste of money. I hope he doesn't intend on chucking another 5 mil on this project.
