Ah ... half the fun of events like Cannes is the big film markets become a pooling ground for literally hundreds of films you'd otherwise never hear of. Films like Hector Hernandez' Los Pajarracos. Set up as a slapstick heavy social satire parodying the current state of Mexican-American border affairs the picture follows the adventures of a luchador (masked wrestler) forced by mobsters to fight his way across the Tijuana border to deliver a package in America. Hernandez has a great eye behind the camera and the whole thing just looks profoundly silly.
