I feel obligated to talk about these films more out of a sense of rewarding the filmmaker's efforts over the quality of the filmmaking but it is also early to pass judgement based solely on a trailer. I guess the great thing about not having to work with actors is that you can do what you want. You don't have to worry about anyone missing their mark, showing up on time for the shoot, or having an episode because someone ate all the green M&Ms. Juanjo Ramirez has scripted and directed a feature film using peanuts as his characters. You heard me. Peanuts.

A prestigious fairytale illustrator is hired by the psychiatric hospital director. His job there will be to decorate the hospital walls with his drawings to improve the place’s atmosphere. It seems like an easy task but things get complicated when the sketcher discovers a dark corridor from where chilling screams come out.

And there you have it. Going Nuts. Peanuts and dark corridors. The filmmakers will be releasing a legal download of this film on May 25th. Until then, watch the trailers here

At the same time that you are on that page you will also want to check out the trailer for their next film Zombie Western. A feature zombie film using puppets. Puppets with chainsaws. Glory!
