To add to the merriment, the 23rd edition of the Visual Communications Film Festival 2007 - AKA The Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival - is run by terrific people who have a deep and abiding love and respect both for the films they program and the incredibly large, diverse community they serve.
It kicks off tonight with Justin Lin's Finishing the Game, centerpieces with Grace Lee's American Zombie, and closes with Charlie Nguyen's The Rebel.
The festival runs from May 3-10. There are too many highlights to list them all here, so check out the details at the official site, linked below. Excuse me while I go wipe the drool off my chin.
