Thanks to Twitch's own logboy for bringing to my attention the fact that Garry's Trading Co. released Kirati Nak-intanond and Sirawat Nak-intanond's Thai dramatic horror Secret Room No. 7 on DVD (Thai w/ English subtitles) in Hong Kong on April 2nd; the DVD is available for order from Twitch affiliate YesAsia.com (Hong Kong) Ltd.. DigiSonic Co. Ltd. (K.K. DejiSonikku) released the movie on DVD (Thai w/ Japanese subtitles) in Japan on July 28th of last year.
As was previously reported here on Twitch, the screenplay for Secret Room No. 7 was written by Poomkamol Phadungratna. The movie stars Kapol Thongplub, Jintana Aromyen, Thikumporn Narintavanich, Natchaya Soranan (a.k.a. Nutchaya Soranan), Phatya Kalwathanon, and Juthamanee Klompirom.
Here's a description of Secret Room No. 7 from the production: "When true love never dies, and death is no longer the end of life. ¶ What would you do if your loved one never wanted to depart... no matter how you killed him? ¶ This is not just a romantic tale; it's a horrific love story in the heat of the night. ¶ The movie combines the northeastern Thai belief in ‘pee-pob' [see also Paul Spurrier's P (pี)], a flesh-eating spirit, with modern-day domestic violence in Bangkok. ¶ In an old apartment, the death of a 14-year-old school girl suddenly destroys everyone's life. Some people blame themselves. Someone simply wants more blood. And when something comes back...."
