I just cannot resist posting this, despite the fact that everything is still rumour - even the title of the film, "Indiana Jones: City of the Gods". The boys over at FilmIck are pretty confident about it, and the casting of Gong Li in an unknown role. They further go on to postulate possible involvement from Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington. Take everything with a rolling boulder of salt. Cate Blanchett and Shia LeBouef are also in there somewhere making this potentially the strangest cast Indy adventure yet. The previous trilogy of films had casting which placed more emphasis on character actors and less on stars (with the exception of Ford and Connery of course).
Even though there is not much enthusiasm for the new Jones adventure, thought I'd pass this along. Carry on with your day...

GONG LI !?? I am there! Well, I'd be there anyway, but one of my favorite actresses along with Cate and Harrison? These rumors (true or not) are making my mouth water.
You know I really don't care what they do with this film. It's taken far too long to get made and I lost all interest in it. I watched the films again when the box set came out and found out that aside from the original the two sequels are pretty much balls.
No way Gong Li would take Mummy 3. That guy is full of bull.
GL is not in Mummy.
