Storm Rider Clash of the Evils may very well be Hong Kong/China's answer to their own local blockbuster animated film. Based on the widely popular Hong Kong comic series by Ma Wing Shing, it will combine elements of 2D and 3D animation with Dante Lam of The Twins Effect fame at the helm. I had my eye on it since January of last year when it was formerly known as The Clash of Storm Rider. Details on the plot has now surfaces on the newly updated Asia Animation site:
This is a sequel to the story featuring two legendary and adventurous characters, Feng & Yun, played on screen by Aaron Kwok and Ekin Cheng in the movie “The Storm Riders”. The Sword Worship Villa, the world's top sword maker, witnessed the bloody execution of its people due to allegations of conspiring to start a rebellion. The young master of the villa, Ao Jue, is the only survivor of the execution. In order to complete the “Jue” Sword, forged by generations of his family, Ao Jue swears to attack Tian Xia Hui and battles with Feng & Yun, in order to obtain the blood of the Fire Kirin which can unleash the power of the sword.
It was originally plan for release at the end of 2006 but its been push back till the first quarter of 2008.

The voice-over in that trailer is terrible.
There is a link to the trailer without the voice over at the Asia Animation site before but its down now. The trailer is over a year old and was used in the Hong Kong filmart to attract english speaking film buyers.
