We've been anticipating this one from the day it was announced and why not? Mongol is the Russian financed, Bill (Crouching Tiger, Hero, House of Flying Daggers) Kong produced, Tadanobu Asano starring bio pic about the life of Ghengis Khan. The stills released thus far have been stunning and now, finally, we get some footage. It comes in the form of a lengthy 'Making Of' video that includes a good amount of rough footage. Very, very nice.

Thanks to Raku and JoshuaPettigrew over at KFC for pointing it out.

"lengthy" is the right word - took ages to download and it lasts 12 minutes! - anyway, the footage looks fairly raw at this point, so hopefully the rough feel it has (to some extent) will go when the sound effects and music (assuming there are any) are in place. bit worried that asano's performance may have gone (or may have to go) a little beyond his normally gentile style, nature. not sure, found it a bit unclear and confusing, it certainly looks like a love story films in slow motion with lots of wide shots too. i still really want to see it though...
I stopped the video halfway through because I didnt want to spoil it for myself, there sure is a lot of footage in it.
Has lots of unique camera angles in it some almost first person with only the hand and sword visible which should be interesting. I haven't really got a feel for it yet i need to see a theatrical trailer with a nice score.
the actress in that is stunningly gorgeous...
