The official website for Benjamin Williams' J-ok'el is online. On that site are a downloadable theatrical trailer, a downloadable teaser trailer, and a stills gallery for the movie.

The screenplay for J-ok'el was written by Jeremy Svenson & Andy Whitaker and Peter Theis, based on a story by Williams. The movie stars Tom Parker, Ana Patricia Rojo, Dee Wallace, Jesús Ochoa, Pablo Bracho, Pamela Trueba, Angelique Boyer, Bárbara Guillén, and Diana Bracho.

Here's a synopsis for J-ok'el from the MySpace official page for the movie: "An unworldly and closed-minded American travels to a small village in exotic Chiapas, Mexico at the behest of his estranged mother when his half-sister disappears during a local epidemic of kidnappings attributed to the legendary J-ok'el, the weeping woman, who drowned her own babies centuries ago and whose spirit has returned to claim more children as her own."

Based on the trailer, this looks pretty bad. That's just MY impression though. It looks like their sound quality isn't particularly high fidelity which is nice to listen to since the movie that i'm making will only contain the voices that draw through my digital camera.
