For the second time in just a few weeks Sina.com has unveiled a trailer for the war epic A Battle of Wits. Most of the appeal to me for this film is that the battles is based on reality. While recent tentpole period films from China/HK features fantastic Kung Fu, there is an emphasis on tactics and strategy here. Andy Lau has stated in the press conference, "The action scenes are different from other movies. There's nobody flying about." For once, its great to see a realistic approach in these kind of films that we don't see often these days.
