The official website for Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Retribution is now online. It's only a holding page at the moment but hopefully its appearance is a sign of good things to come soon. Like a trailer. That would be nice.
We were very proud to have the Canadian premiere of Retribution as part of Toronto After Dark this year and the film certainly didn't fail to impress. Smart, stylish and beautifully shot stuff anchored by yet another incredible performance by Koji Yakusho. Very nice.
I'm so envious that you've already seen this. I still haven't even seen LOFT yet. Hopefully, both will arrive in the Bay Area sometime soon.
