Yep, we just had were-sheep in New Zealand's Black Sheep and now here come the were-rats in Mulberry Street, but while the sheep were played for laughs, director Jim Mickle is playing his film totally straight.
Set in the midst of a Manhattan heat wave Mulberry Street revolves around six evicted New Yorkers struggling to survive the night - and the homes the presumably want back - when a rat-borne infection breaks out that transforms the afflicted into bloodthirsty rat creatures.
The website has just been updated with a trailer and we've got a first look at seven new stills from the film.

Ooh ooh send me one too.
About Mulberry. Looks very interesting and it's refreshing to see a DV film that actually looks good.
I'M NOT EXACTLY CLEAR W/ WHAT YOU POSTED… ARE YOU SAYING THAT YOU HAVE A COPY OF "MULBERRY STREET" ON DVD W/ ENGLISH SUBTITLES & WHAT IS "GEN"? ***IT'S SO HARD FOR ME TO FIND MOST MOVIES W/ "RON BRICE" IN THEM BECAUSE HE'S IN ALOT OF IDENPENDANT FILMS, THAT DOESN'T REEK OF hollyWOULD!!!!
