What is it with these English Titles for movies... I wished they stayed with Tom Yun Goong. So people won't know what it means.. so what... I looked it up, and they would too if they are curious enough... I think it's funny how it means spicy shrimp stew. Oh well, many people have already seen this movie thourhg DVDs, but the bog screen would make a cool difference.
I thought Tom Yum Goong meant Honor of the Beast but maybe I'm wrong. Yeah I hope Tony Jaa's movies will have a better story in the future because my god his movies have horrible stories. I know most people just go for the action anyways but my god it's bad. He might want to concentrate on a better script next time around.
Seen it and I liked it not as god as Ong Bak but there are some awesome scenes that makes your jaw drop.
No, tom yum goong is a type of thai soup, the restaurant where the main character was searchin for to find his elephant was call tom yum goong as well, it the origin of the problem in the movie, sorry if i post any spoiler.

i saw the original ong bak. it was a good movie altogether except the script was indeed horrible. but the protector's script had some good points in it and the ending was an extraordinary pleasant happy ending. they should have just called it ong bak 2 since once again hes on another religious quest. but i know tony jaa fans come for the kickass muay-thai fighting. MUAY-THAI ALL THE FUCKIN' WAY.
I personally CANNOT wait to see this movie! I love Tony Jaa and since when do people go to action movies for the script...as if any of you could actually fight any way. I know he can kick my ass so I don't care if he goes on a religious quest for the olsen twins I'm going to see it!
