Joe Knee's Cult is scheduled to be screened at the 6th Shriekfest Film Festival in Hollywood, California on Saturday September 30th at 6:00 p.m.. Distribution rights for the movie are being offered for sale by American World Pictures.
As was reported here on Twitch back on May 18th, the screenplay for Cult was written by Ben Oren, based on a story by Knee and Stephen Fromkin. The movie apparently stars Rachel Miner as Mindy, Taryn Manning as Cassandra, Glenn Dunk as Bailey, Joel Michaely as Alex, Robert Berson as Owen Quinlin, Fiona Horne as Professor Diane Estabrook, and Susie Park as Kwan Yin.
Here's a synopsis for Cult from American World Pictures' website: "While researching a local cult, four college students uncover the existence of a supernatural power that may take their lives... and their souls."
