Here's a fascinating piece of news ... X reported back in late June that director Bong Joon-Ho had picked up rights to French sci-fi graphic novel Le Transperceneige with an eye to adapting it one or two films down the road. Science fiction as a genre has not fared well in Korea so the prospects of someone as quality as Bong giving that particular wheel a spin was greatly encouraging. And now, to make it even better, Darcy Paquet has dropped word that Bong's production partner on this film will be none other than Korean cult icon Park Chan-Wook. Now if that's not a power combination I don;t know what is and with Bong's The Host absolutely devastating all Korean box office records it's a safe bet that these two will be given the room to do whatever they want, however they want to do it with this one ...
