There's defenitely some nice anime ahead of us. Not only Paprika, but also of course Ghibli's Gedo Senki and Studio 4c's Tekkon. And Madhouse's Toki wo kakeru shoujyo (http://www.kadokawa.co.jp/tokikake/index.php) that has just been been released.
Director: Hosoda Mamoru, Character Design : Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (Evangelion), Supervising Animator : Hiroyuki Aoyama (Whisper of the Heart), Back Ground : Nizou Yamamoto (Spirited Away)
Mamoru Hosoda was supposed to direct Howl's Moving Castle, but quit the project after failing to come up with a good enough concept for the movie- according to Studio Ghibli bosses.
Now this film is going up against Tales from Earthsea, and it seems to be more favored of the two at the moment. If Toki does beat Earthsea at the box office, it would be a perfect way to exact revenge on Studio Ghibli.
