Sitting in my mail box this morning was a pointer to the website and trailer for Virus, a French short film currently in production and set entirely in the world of The Matrix. Yes, the third one sucked - I'm one of the dissenters who actually really likes the second one - but the original film deserves much geek love and this short certainly does an admirable job of capturing the look of things. Definitely one of the better looking fan films I've ever come across.

That is a growing list of dissenters. In time, the second Matrix film will be recognized as the strongest entry of the trilogy, with the only major flaw being the Zion "Rave" and "tertiary characterbuilding". WHile things are in the matrix, everything works nicley, and the programming metaphors within the matrix were far more creative in this entry than the other two.
Thankfully more people feel the same way about Matrix:Reloaded, I always thought it was the best of the three, it really showed what "living in a program" is like.

Didn't really get the idea behind this from the trailer though, agents stand around and beat a guy up..
Hah! Counter-Strike: The Movie the first, and still one of the best, fan films I ever saw. Prett cool the same crew are still working on stuff together 5 years later.
Terrific find! Although I've just discovered it, Twitch is quickly becoming one of my favorite movie sites. Keep it up!
