In only a couple of days time then, but just because I know people's speculation will go all over the place thanks to the miracles of t'internet, I will say that there's enough information from the past and doubt in anyone's mind (hopefully) to say that the speculation over it being a feature film could still be a little premature - I mean, Miyazaki doesn't just work on features, Goro Miyazaki's is proving to be effective if nothing else so far ('Gedo Senki' is 99.9% complete right now), and there's other people who could be revealed as Directors of other Ghibli features for the future.
Hopefully it is a feature film of course, one last hoorah for the master himself? We will find out for certain in a couple of days. For now, let us just hope, and relax. Japanese channel TBS 15-minute interview with Miyazaki one News23 show will confirm the project.[Source : Nausicaa].

Nothing wrong with a little speculation. I hope and think the next Miyazaki feature will be "Arzach". An adaption of Jean "Moebius" Girauld's comic book. Here is why:
1)Miyazaki has been a great admirer of Moebius for years.
- A year ago they held an exhibition together in Paris
( http://www.miyazaki-moebius.com/ )
- You can find an interview between the two of them on the 4th disc of the japanese Howl's moving castle s.e. dvd.
- Arzach is filled with flying scenes, one of Miyazaki's trademarks.
Didn't he buy the film rights of this highly succesful novel about a boy who is very ill and wonders into a café or a restaurant and encounters a fairy (I'm a bit woozy on the details right now but I remember them buying the rights to the book about a year ago).
This could well be it.
Yeah, one last hoorah for the master. Again.
